Beijing SDL Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2012. It is a national high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, design, production, sales and services, and owns more than 400 intellectual property rights such as patents and software copyrights.

Our business mainly involves environmental monitoring, carbon monitoring and measurement, industrial process analysis, scientific instruments, and comprehensive environmental services. Through the comprehensive solution integrating "intelligent equipment + intelligent operation and maintenance + intelligent applications", SDL is committed to continuous environmental quality improvement for the carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.

SDL has been recognized as national Specialized and Innovative "Little Giant" Enterprise, Beijing Specialized and Innovative Enterprise, Beijing Enterprise Technology Center, Beijing Engineering Laboratory, and the Postdoctoral Research Workstation. SDL has undertaken more than 20 national and provincial key R&D programs, and awarded Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, Second Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, First Prize of Environmental Protection Science and Technology Invention Award, Second Prize of Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award, First Prize of Environmental Technology Progress Award, etc.

2001

● Beijing SDL Technology Co., Ltd. was officially established
● SDL’s first Continuous Emissions Monitoring System was successfully installed in a power plant
● SDL’s first process analysis system was successfully installed in a petrochemical company

2003

● First infrared analyzer was independently developed
● Developed high temperature / high dust concentration sampling technology for the cement industry

2007

● Donated and built SDL Hope Primary School in Xichou County, Yunnan Province
● Launched coal gasification online analyzer system for the coal chemical industry
● Developed waste incineration flue gas monitoring technology

2012

● Beijing SDL Technology Co., Ltd was successfully listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code 002658)
● Participated in the Ministry of Science and Technology’s major mercury monitoring instrument development project
● SDL’s first set of biological toxicity water quality monitors was successfully deployed in Guangdong Province

2015

● Acquired a controlling stake in the British company Kore Technology Ltd and established a British overseas R&D center
● Approved to establish a postdoctoral research program
● SDL’s first industrial park comprehensive environmental monitoring service project was installed in Leping Industrial Park, Jiangxi Province

2016

● Completed the acquisition of the Belgian company Orthodyne S.A. and established a Belgian overseas R&D center
● Subsidiary Beijing SDL Information Technology Co., Ltd. was established
● Subsidiary Beijing SDL Environmental Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established
● Subsidiary Guangdong SDL Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. was established
● The biological toxicity water quality monitor was selected into the advanced and practical Technologies guidance catalog of the Ministry of Water Resources

2018

● Awarded the bid for construction, operation and maintenance project of the National Surface Water Automatic Monitoring System by China National Environmental Monitoring Center
● Won the Contribution Award for Outstanding Engineering and Technology Talents by China International Science Exchange Foundation
● Participated in the Ministry of Science and Technology’s National Key R&D Program "Full Process Air Pollution Control and Technical Integration Demonstration in Fine Chemical Industry Parks"

2019

● The Two-wheels "Business driven and Culture driven" model opens a new journey for SDL 2.0
● Won the 2nd prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award

2020

● Won the title of “Green Factory”, in line with China’s strategy to establish a green manufacturing system
● Obtained CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) maturity level 5 certificate
● Initiated carbon emission monitoring business

2021

● Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangdong Inspection Group and Foshan CNTest Company to carry out a "carbon peak and carbon neutral" cooperation
● Awarded the bid for a carbon emission monitoring pilot project of a power plant
● Awarded the bid for operation and maintenance project of the National Surface Water Quality Automatic Monitoring Station
● Awarded the bid for operation and maintenance project of the National Ambient Air Quality Automatic Monitoring Station

2022

● Selected as the top 100 manufacturing enterprises and the top 100 high-end and sophisticated enterprises in Beijing
● The intelligent CO₂ monitoring technology was selected into the "Recommended Catalog of Innovative Green Technologies in Beijing"

2023

● Recognized as national Specialized and Innovative "Little Giant" Enterprise

As a public company, SDL regards fulfilling social responsibilities as the foundation for our everlasting business, and in the process, we have gained a more long-term and open perspective. With good intentions, we are bound to shoulder our responsibilities to our employees, customers, shareholders and the general public. Caring for students, participating in public welfare, and protecting the environment, we use our limited strength to support the sustainable development of society!

While fulfilling corporate social responsibilities, SDL also actively contributes to social welfare undertakings and talent cultivation. We established SDL Hope Primary School in Xichou County, Yunnan Province, and called on employees to actively lend a helping hand and send employees to teach. Up to now, SDL Scholarships have been donated to more than ten universities to support the cultivation of professionals in the field of environment.
